Refurbishment of a listed building
THE PROJECT
The usual challenges were encountered when we were contracted to restore this Listed Building, but at the same time provide a high quality large family property to modern day standards.
The main roof was restructured and covered with second hand welsh slates.
The existing sash windows were replaced only where necessary to match the existing. Ornate plaster covings were also repaired and in some cases replaced.
Modern standard multiple bathroom, a bespoke kitchen with all modern appliances were installed as part of the works.
Recycled York stone was used for the garden patio area and a custom made conservatory with sliding doors provided.
The back addition structure was also rebuilt to match the existing building
Overall, the property was finished to a very high standard.
