OUR ROLE
To demolish 4 existing shop units and offices, and construct a showroom with offices to the ground floor and basement with 8 apartments above.
THE PROJECT
This Site had all of the difficulties associated with inner city development, and much more. Working within a Conservation area on a very busy High Street was extremely challenging.
With the careful demolition of 4 existing shop units and offices, we constructed a showroom, offices to the ground floor and basement with 8 apartments above.
A part of the brief was to retain the façade of the original Building and erect a steel framed building behind the existing frontage.
The specification included the use of High performance Eco friendly TJI Joists and a Single Ply Sarnafil roof membrane, along with Heritage type timber windows to match the original features and a patent glazed roof system above office areas.
Despite the complexity of the job, this project was completed on time and to the highest quality.
