OUR ROLE
To convert and part new-build 6 three storey mews properties.
THE PROJECT
With the main building a former 19th century factory, the existing building needed extensive reconstruction and repair prior to the conversion.
Both ends of the building were extended to form an ‘L’ shaped development. The existing first floor was removed. By way of a clever window design within the main building, it was then possible to introduce an additional level creating a new third floor.
In order to compliment the open plan design of the spacious interior, three storey spiral staircases were installed along with bespoke kitchens and bathrooms: The latter were finished to a very high standard complete with granite work surfaces and stone floors.
The whole project was then decorated throughout using the highest standard of finishes – including natural wood flooring throughout. New service roads, landscaped gardens and remote controlled security gates created a stylish outdoor environment.
THE RESULT
A quality modern development, that still honours the past through thoughtful design.
